About me
Supporting Academic Success and Emotional Well-being Through Evidence-Based Care: With nearly a decade of experience spanning New York, California, South Korea, and India, I have dedicated my career to helping students from all walks of life reach their full potential. As a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP #4229) and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), I believe that real growth happens when we bridge the gap between an individual’s functioning and true potential.
Supporting Students Across Every Milestone: Every stage of a student's development brings unique challenges and opportunities. I provide specialized, age-appropriate support tailored to the following groups:
Elementary & Middle School Students: Building foundational academic skills, social-emotional regulation, and early behavioral interventions.
High School Students: Navigating the complexities of adolescence, executive functioning, and specialized support for IEPs and 504 Plans, and college preparation.
College-Age & Young Adults: Assisting with the transition and success in post-secondary education, developing management and self-advocacy skills, and academic accommodations in higher education.
My Professional Background & Expertise: My approach is rooted in a deep understanding the “whole-person,” when assessing, tailoring interventions and collaborating to help individuals better understand themselves. I hold an Advanced Graduate Degree in School Psychology from Fordham University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University. This dual focus allows me to navigate the complexities of the education system while providing direct, clinical support to students. I specialize in:
Comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessments: Identifying individual learning styles, developing a in-depth understanding of processing strengths and challenges, and neurodivergent needs.
Special Education Law & Advocacy: Helping families understand procedural requirements and best practices, and effectively navigate the Special Education system.
Social-Emotional and Behavioral Interventions: Providing counseling support and creating tailored and practical solutions that can be effectively implemented in the classroom and at home.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partnering with teachers, families, and specialists to create student-centered solutions.
A Global Perspective on Learning: Having worked around the world, in public and private school settings, with students with diverse backgrounds and needs across grade levels, I wholeheartedly understand that every student’s journey is unique. Whether you are navigating the nuances of seeking an IEP, developing strategies for social-emotional growth, or just interested in better understanding yourself or your child as a learner— my goal is to provide evidence-based individualized support that makes a significant positive impact.
